Working with LMC Audio System we installed 4 line arrays comprising 16 MLA mini speakers to cover the Ivor Crewe Lecture Theatre. This innovative space comprised 2 x 500 seat spaces which could be combined into one but the removal of a central diving wall. The design for the array was carried out by Martin audio and the speakers installed with cm accuracy to ensure the correct coverage using a scissor lift and Glass max manual hoist. This achieved greatly improved intelligibility throughout the space compared to the previous ribbon driver column speakers.
